What are the requirements to participate in the project, and how does the registration process work?

To participate in the project, you must be enrolled as a student at the University of Hohenheim. Participation is possible throughout your entire studies. No separate registration for the project itself is required. However, to attend the seminars required for earning the BRICKS certificate, registration via the Language Center and the F.I.T. platform is necessary.

What steps are required to obtain the BRICKS Certificate?

To receive the certificate, you must successfully complete a specified number of seminars. Once all requirements are fulfilled, you can easily download the certificate from the F.I.T. platform.

How does the project facilitate contact with companies?

The project includes career fairs on campus, visits to regional fairs, and company tours. These activities are designed to actively promote networking and exchange between international students and potential employers.

Can German students also participate in the BRICKS Certificate program?

No, the certificate is exclusively designed for international students. However, German students are welcome to take part in the seminars and events offered through the project.

Can I participate in the seminars even if I don’t intend to earn the certificate?

Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to attend the seminars even if you do not plan to complete the certificate.

Who can I contact if I need help with my application documents?

The project offers a variety of seminars and workshops to support you in preparing your application documents. For individual support, you can also book an appointment with the CareerCenter – simply via the JobTeaser platform: uni-hohenheim.jobteaser.com

Are there any costs for participating in the project?

No, participation in the project is free of charge.

Can I earn the BRICKS certificate even if I’m not enrolled at the University of Hohenheim?

No, only students who are officially enrolled at the University of Hohenheim are eligible to participate in the certificate program. External and former students are unfortunately not eligible.

Can the credit points earned in BRICKS seminars be counted toward my degree?

Yes, this is generally possible, but it must be individually coordinated with your study program coordinator.

Does the BRICKS Certificate improve my chances on the job market, and can it help me with job hunting?

The certificate documents practical, job-related qualifications and can enhance your prospects on the job market. However, it does not guarantee employment.
